Tips to Improve Hair Health and Appearance

Hair is an indicator of your body health. If your hair is dry, dull and lacking shine, your body for sure lacks essential nutrients. Unimpressive, damaged and lifeless hair shows how you treat it. If you’ve been continuously battling with rough hair or hair loss, change the way you treat it. Don’t just change your shampoo or conditioner; rather take proper care of it and introduce essential nutrients in to your diet. Hair Care not only includes shampooing them at regular intervals but is much more than that. It requires continuous attention and regular intake of protein, magnesium and biotin.

Tips to Improve Hair Health

  • Oil Massage: Your mane requires regular oiling. Simply mix few drops of olive oil and almond oil and lukewarm it. Apply it on your scalp in circular motion for 5-10 minutes. Allow it to stay for 50-60 minutes and then wash your hair with shampoo. This will improve its appearance and protect it from falling.

  • Conditioning: Conditioning of hair is very important. It makes them soft and silky and therefore, reduces breakage.

  • Use Cold Water: Hot water makes your hair look dry and lifeless and causes breakage. If you can’t do with cold water, use lukewarm water to wash your hair.

  • Intake of Essential Nutrients: Vitamins, proteins, antioxidants and biotin are very necessary for healthy hair. Antioxidants improve the circulation of blood in your scalp and keep your hair healthy. Intake of egg, milk, yoghurt, banana, oatmeal, almonds, potatoes, blackcurrants, citrus fruits and strawberries improve your overall as well as hair health.

  • Drink Plenty of Water: Make sure to drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday. It flushes out all the impurities and toxins from your body and keeps your skin and hair glowing and shining.

  • Personal Grooming Courses: If above tips don’t help you, consider joining Personal Grooming classes. These days, several personal grooming courses for women are available where experts help you understand the texture of your hair and how to take care of it. These grooming courses also include hair care and hair styling modules.

  • People who are expert in this field conduct such classes and provide you with complete details about hair texture, styling, coloring, trimming, etc. You can interact with them and ask your queries.
